If you had to describe yourself as a drink, what would it be and why? A good, aged, well rounded red I think.
What do you enjoy most about being a part of Duende? All the great people, our guests and our team. Get them together and we have a load of fun with plenty of happy souls.
Why hospitality? I love the constant challenge and the creativity it requires. Every day is a new opportunity to perfect an experience.
If you had to describe yourself as a drink, what would it be and why? Gin Tonica. It looks simple, but it’s all about precise aromatics, quality ingredients, and perfect balance - just like a great dish.
What do you enjoy most about being a part of Duende? Being part of a team that isn’t afraid to shake things up, try new concepts, and bring a true taste of Spain to our guests.
Why hospitality? I chose hospitality because I’m from Spain and we’ve always been surrounded by bars. It makes us feel at home and there’s nothing better than enjoying your work while also making customers happy.
If you had to describe yourself as a drink, what would it be and why? Bourbon. You could have it by itself to have a relaxing and quiet day and also add some lemon, sugar and egg white and have something fresh and fun.
What do you enjoy most about being a part of Duende? I chose Duende because the environment with the coworkers is the best. The food amazing and the bar super beautiful, the closest thing to Spain we can find in Perth.
Why hospitality? I chose hospitality because I love meeting new people and creating great experiences for guests. Every shift is different and it keeps the job exciting.
If you had to describe yourself as a drink, what would it be and why? Tommy Garcia - one of our specials. It’s fresh, fun, and has a bit of personality… just like me.
What do you enjoy most about being a part of Duende? Because the atmosphere is amazing and the team is incredible. My colleagues make every shift enjoyable, and it really feels like a supportive place to work.
